I love the fact that Grants still has butchers that cut the meat. It isn’t that prepackaged, injected and gassed stuff that some stores carry. Grants definitely has the best meat in town!
We live out of state but when we come home for visits , Grant’s is our store of choice . Shopped there for years before moving here .

I love Grants. I shop mainly at the Mercer Street store but have to go to the Athens Crossroads l(other end of town for me) ocation every other week for kitty litter.

Rhonda, the new ad usually goes up around 7-8pm on Friday evening. Since it’s simply an electronic version of the newspaper ad, that thing has to be revised and approved before it goes to press, then we get our copy to post online.

there are plenty of empty buildings on main street.
the old algoma company store is nice on the outside. with plenty of parking space.
a lot of us older people can’t drive anymore.
we love shopping at grants. from welch to bluefield some of us ride the ransit bus
